Heerlijk verblijf bij prachtige plantage
9.0De kamer was ruim, mooi ingericht en voorzien van onder meer koelkast, koffiemaker, tv (niet gebruikt), enz. Het bed was heel fijn. Alles zag er tiptop uit. De badkamer is eveneens zeer ruim met heerlijke handdoeken.. We hadden een prive patio die ook ruim was met twee schommelstoelen en een tafeltje. We hebben gegeten in het restaurant dat is gevestigd in het koetshuis. Ook hier is veel aandacht gegeven aan de smaakvolle inrichting. Het eten was erg lekker.
− De asbak vol asresten op de tafel op de patio hadden we niet verwacht. Die hebben we onder de tafel gezet. De tafel zelf hebben we met een doekje schoongemaakt. Maar verder was alles prima schoon, zeker binnen in de kamer en badkamer. Het ontbijt was maar zozo. Roerei en bacon waren prima, biscuits oke. Helaas alleen gezoete yoghurt en sinaasappelsap uit een pak. De koffie was wat te zuur naar mijn smaak.

Bit of a strange place and won’t be returning
6.0The property itself self was large, clean and very comfortable.
− The location is not good. It is right by a motorway which you can hear when outside (luckily not too much inside) but given we had chosen to stay partly due to the setting, this was a disappointment. Also, to be aware, the area around is full of industry / chemical plants (not a great location for a run as we found out). In addition, the gardens itself look nice online but are full of random pieces of tacky art - such a shame. There is also a railway museum next to the reception model full of those creepy wax work models.
