9.0Having had several disappointing stays in pubs, we were hesitant about booking the Red Lion, especially as it seemed quite expensive, but our chalet/room was spacious, very comfortable and well-equipped. Basics, such as tea, coffee, milk, juice etc were provided. We had dinner in the pub restaurant and the meal was of excellent quality and not expensive.
− We stayed during a heatwave and the property was hot. There was a good quality fan provided, but it wasn't really effective in such extreme temperature. I'm sure that in normal weather, it would be perfectly comfortable.
Highly Recommended.
9.0Great accommodation and the staff were brilliant. The evening meal was very good and the only reason we didn't rate it 10/10 was due to not being able to get breakfast there. We would definitely use it again, highly recommended.

Well appointed, comfy, great staff, lovely pub with nice food.
10.0Such a great place to stay. The large, well appointed room was nicely decorated and really comfortable. The pub itself is very welcoming and the staff were all super.
− Nothing at all. I’ve given the location a neutral score simply because there’s nothing really to say about it. If you’re in Holbeach it’s probably for a reason and so the location is as good as any.

4.0The female staff were hospitable. The accommodation was clean and tidy.
− Told that the bar closed at 8.p.m. However the opening hours were actually open till 10 p. m. It seemed that the staff wished to get away before the closing time.
