Fantastic house, location and pool.

The pool and outside areas are fantastic, the views across rural countryside are a perfect backdrop. At the house there is a bar, large table, pizza oven and BBQ in the outdoor dining area. The pool table was a great addition and we also played bowls. Silves, a couple miles down the road has all the shops, restaurants and supplies that you need. Art'aska (steakhouse restaurant) in silves is highly recommended for dinner. Autodromo race circuit is 20 minutes away and the beach is 30 minutes by car. Sea kayaking around the caves was great. Fantastic location.

− Mainly the mosquitos, pesky flies and ants Inside the house. The bedrooms seem to be a breeding ground for mosquitos. The house would benefit from new soft furnishings, bedding and towels. One of the bathroom windows doesn't open and there are no extractor fans leaving damp odors in the bathrooms/ bedrooms. There wasn't basic sanitary supplies like hand wash, toilet roll, laundry detergent or bin bags. We had to wash some of the damp smelling, tired bedding and towels before use, after going to buy detergent and softener. There isn't an oven in the kitchen. There is a small mobile electric oven in the outdoor kitchen but only powerful enough for small dinners, certainly not large groups. There are plenty of plates and cutlery for 10 people but there aren't any tea cups or grill pans and without an oven it's difficult to cook for large groups.
