We had a wonderful time visiting my son and grandchildren who live in Peru. Great base and location.
9.0The two bedroom apartment was very comfortable. The wifi was ok but to be expected in Barranco generally. We found ourselves using our mobile roaming data additional to the wifi. The washing and drying facilities was great with no extra charge in the basement and where to dispose rubbish. The concierge were very helpful and friendly we used the translation app to be able to converse as Spanish is the main language here. Our stay felt very safe. Lovely shower and beds, clean and spacious. Enjoyed looking out over the small balcony any time of the day. There was no air conditioning but two freestanding fans which suited us. We would definitely return. Great bars and fantastic Peruvian food a must!
− It was my understanding that as a pre payment wasn't taken from my card that i would be paying in full once i arrived. This however did not take place and Luis asked for a cash payment which was not specified on the booking or notified by Luis before arriving in Peru. As US dollars were requested there was an inconvenience and cost in using the cash dispensers over three days as there was a limit per day of how much cash could be withdrawn. It cost $30 in fees. This could have been planned in the UK if i had known before hand. Luis was apologetic as were booking.com who were very supportive. Luis would not and did not provide a receipt for payment which was very disappointing after promising he would do so.

3.0The location was great, and the building concierge was very helpful. However, the overall organization of the apartment and information about nearby amenities was poor. We had originally planned to return for a second stay but chose to stay at the Sheraton instead. We appreciate our host offering free cancellation though.
− Our stay at the Lima apartment was unfortunately quite disappointing. The water pressure in the showers was extremely low—essentially just a drip—and there was a noticeable smell of smoke in the ensuite bathroom and second bedroom. Several items were broken, including the coffee table, the toilet seat in the second bathroom, and the seat cover in the ensuite. The apartment also lacked basic amenities like milk, coffee, or tea. The beds had only fitted sheets, with duvets in the cupboards that didn’t feel very fresh. There were only three towels for four guests, and no bathmats at all.

9.0La souplesse de l’hôte, ayant effectué le check in à midi au lieu de 3h. Ai pu également laissé mes valises le lendemain avant de repartir en soirée à l’aéroport, vraiment plus qu’appréciable !
