Rare, Authentic Caribbean Historic hotel
9.0Great location around a beautiful bay, Authentic building, well maintained, tastefully renovated. Nice staff, nice pool area,
− The Gunpowder suites in the main house (PM1 to PM4 I think) are beautiful, great sea view, nicely decorated, 5-star quality. The suites in the “cottages” (we were in PM15) more recently built, have more of a 3-star feel to them. Everything works, and is clean … but is just lower quality.

− Checkout is always a nightmare, this time they had work going on the entrance, we couldn’t leave the premises for 40 mins My international flight was 80 minutes away when I arrived at the airport The restaurant manager is also extremely rude, the elder Caucasian lady, I asked a question, didn’t understand properly and she repeated herself extremely rude.

− When requesting help from staff no one is available, checkout was an ordeal hated the process. My card was charged extra for services I already paid, I didn't argue I just wanted to check out, it every unorganised.
