Wonderful stay in a lovely cottage in a lovely area - will be back!

We had a lovely few days at Gwynt Y Mor and were so lucky with the weather! We loved the cottage and the area and appreciated being able to walk the dog through the Golf Course (saw our first Adder!!) and also that there was a path all the way into Cardigan which was good to walk the dog on. We also loved taking the dog on Poppit Sands beach. We found the cottage to be well heated, good water pressure and lots of hot water. We appreciated having plenty of glasses/plates/mugs/cafetiere etc along with dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid and toilet roll provided. The place was spotless and lovely and we also appreciated the provided towels and soap etc. Broadband was good.

− I've listed a number of minor points as feedback (none of which detracted from us thoroughly enjoying our break) but may help future guests: It wasn't clear from the booking email (via Booking.com) that the "reception" referred to for picking up the keys was actually the reception at the hotel rather than a separate "accommodation reception" - this could be clearer stated that we should go to the Hotel and even also provide a what3words location! The mixer tap in the family bathroom didn't work which made the shower too cold to use. Not an issue when we had others to use but this could be an issue for larger groups (N.B. We were told the maintenance team would have addressed this if we had reported it during our stay - it wasn't a big issue for us at the time as we could use the other shower(s)!) Some of the led lights in the hot tub didn't appear to be working (very minor point - we loved the hot tub even though we had hot tub envy when seeing the tubs in the neighbouring properties!!!!) There was nothing provided in the kitchen apart from the nice tray of tea/coffee/biscuits and dishwasher tablets etc as above. Some basics such as salt/pepper/oil/tin foil/Kitchen Roll etc would be nice (we've had this provided in other properties which helps if cooking in) We didn't find the couches very comfortable (not an easy "fix" I know!) The TV was "ok" but a little small for a large room with couches a bit of a distance away (main issue here is our ageing eyesight!) The seats outside could have done with a clean and at least one was cracked which could cause issues A safe would be a nice addition (we have prior experience of a break in at a villa we rented so are particularly security conscious). Some of the soap bottles were difficult to use (I'm really picking minor points here!!!
