− Got a phone call on the day of travelling saying she had double booked the Monday night and was going to give it to the other booking eventhough I had booked a year in advance and it was for a wedding party. Wasn't able to find anywhere to accommodate the group that was arriving ended up having to pay for a hotel last minute

The comfortability of the bedrooms, sitting room & the dining room; garden was a decent size (despite it being a bit overgrown), the central heating did its job well and the neighbourhood was nice & quiet.

− There weren't many choices of supermarkets, food shops, corner shops within a good distance. The home had signs of wear and tear such as: holes in the walls & ceilings, broken doors, incomplete paint jobs and a damaged stair banister.

All in all, disappointing and we would not recommend the property.

The beds were comfortable, the location was ideal for our needs and there was ample parking for our cars.

− - On arrival when our first visitor entered the property, there was dirty washing on the floor in the kitchen, and the washing machine was full. - Although advertised as a ‘6 bedroom property’ - the 6th bed was a mattress and bed base leaning up against the dining room wall unmade, making the room cramped. - The Wardrobes in the bedrooms were dirty and had loose hairs in them. - The bannister on the stairs was loose and moved dangerously when used, and one of the steps on the stairs was uneven causing one of our guests to fall making us to extra cautious. - The downstairs toilet light did not work forcing us to leave the door open when using it. - The shower in the upstairs bathroom when turned on, water would leak from the pipes unless using the small head. Within the same room the toilet would not flush, and wasn’t clean. - The Decor was very tatty in places, with holes in the walls and a badly sealed cat flap on the back door. - Although we were told ‘please don’t hesitate to contact us’ if there was any issues by the host that attended to deal with the dirty washing, we were made to feel like a nuisance because of the messages we had to send previously.
