A lovely location but overall upkeep of the property could be improved

A beautiful location, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

− I found the communication with the property management could have been improved upon. Responses were slow and not entirely helpful. As an example, there was no hot water in the kitchen for washing up dishes and when I sent a message about it, I had to follow up hours later before receiving an answer. The answer was not particularly helpful and did not solve the issue. So by the time we left, we still had not gotten to a point of having hot water in the kitchen. As we were there for only 3 nights, I decided it was not worth the hassle to wait another full day to get a response, and resorted to boiling water in the kettle to wash dishes. The apartment itself was comfortable enough, but the cleanliness could be improved upon massively: there were hairs from previous guests in the bathroom, dead insects in corners of rooms and we had to unload the dishwasher from previous guests upon arrival.

Beautiful and cosy property in a stunning private farm location. Lovely gardens and outdoor areas. Comfortable beds and couches.

− It was a little hard to find as it wasn’t in Google Maps. But it’s since been added. There’s a £120 cleaning fee which seems excessive - but maybe the owner has their reasons.

Very, very peaceful, we had a lot of issues with a stay via Air b&b and had no where to stay, so we came across this place on booking.com booked it at 8pm and the lady came out and cleaned the apartment and got it ready for us in the middle of the night couldn't thank her enough without her our family holiday was ruined and a 6 hour drive back home, but she saved us and we loved it so much we booked another week for next year while we was still there

The location was exceptional , short walk to private secluded bay great for swimming and paddle boarding .

− The building in general was run down . The hallway smelt badly of damp and was very unkept . The flat was tired , bathroom and toilet , tiny ,smelt damp and very dated . The rooms were not sound proofed at all . The bunk beds were not stable and the mattress was awful , no windows in that room either .

Beautiful and peaceful location, excellent facilities - well worth the money.

I loved the location, although it was further away from Kingsbridge than we realised. However, that said, it was so incredibly peaceful. We slept well, enjoyed the real fresh air, the bird song, absolutely everything really. The beds/pillows were some of the comfiest I have every slept in. Sadly I forgot to take photographs inside the property, but the photographs would not do it justice.

− Only one shower room, however as adults, we were able to organise ourselves.
