The perfect rural escape.
10.0This is an exceptional place to stay. A beautiful shepherd’s hut set in dreamy countryside. The hut is extremely comfortable and all facilities are excellent. The hosts couldn’t have been nicer. We wished we could have stayed longer and are planning our return!

Idyllic and peaceful getaway
10.0Incredible location and views. Beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed. A beautiful walk from the front door, and lots to do in driving distance. Hosts were really welcoming and helpful.

10.0Absolutely everything! Mark and Teresa are fantastic hosts, and have built a super comfortable hut with the most comfortable bed! We stayed here whilst going to Oldfield Forge just up the road and it snowed on the first night, so Mark kindly gave us a lift in his 1957 landrover. Kitchenette and bathroom were very clean and fully working. We had everything we needed for a few days in terms of facilities. The hut gets very cosy very quickly with it's log burner and a space heater, regardless of which one is one - entirely worth it! Absolutely loved our stay!
