A very comfy, spa-adjacent experience
10.0This hotel is primarily an onsen, and is open for day visits. Not to worry though - the hotel makes special allowances for lodgers. There are a variety of lounges and recreational areas to enrich the onsen experience, and my 2-night stay was not enough to experience them all fully. All in all I was very comfortable, and I enjoyed the onsen and sauna each day after exploring the surrounding region (I visited Yamagata to see the cherry orchards in season and visit Okitama Park’s extensive garden).
− As a solo traveller, I was lucky to snag a discounted offer. Naturally, this will be on the pricier, fancier side. However, I feel I got a commensurate stay for the price paid. You might want to plan a looser schedule so you can spend plenty of time at the onsen, sauna(s), and lounging about the many leisure spaces available.

8.0Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Lounge mit den Sitzmöglichkeiten und Büchern hat mir auch gefallen. Das Bad im obersten Stock war auch cool
− Die Einrichtung ist nicht mehr ganz so zeitgemäß hat aber trotzdem einen gewissen Charme.

− ちゃんと見ていなかったら私が悪いですが お部屋にシャワーが着いていなくて潔癖の旦那は温泉にいつも行かないので今回は洗面所で洗ってました🤣
