事前の案内が丁寧だったので大変わかりやすく助かりました。一点だけ、給湯や暖房の付け方がわからずだったのですが台所の給湯器をONにすると全て動き出して快適になりました。

Lovely property and owners, but mattresses are beyond their usable life

Lovely clean and well-decorated apartment in a very quiet environment, which is always pleasing. No parking directly on site, but free parking readily available nearby. Tim was very responsive to any questions and was friendly and warm. UPDATE INRESPONSE TO OWNER'S REPLY: I'm sorry if my feedback offended you, but it was just honest and included things that I thought you might like to know. We were only in the property for literally 5 minutes before going out and returned in the late evening, so we'd not have bothered you for a teapot then. No, we didn't look in the pot cupboard for a cafetiere - they'd normally be in an upper cupboard or on the workbench. As I said, the apartment was really clean and nicely decorated. I'm surprised that no one else has remarked on the mattresses, because they were seriously noisy. I slept badly, and my son in the single room did too, for the same reason. I suppose I could have given feedback privately, and in no way would I want to damage anyone's business, but I was just being honest and stand by my comments.

− Would have liked a teapot and cafetiere, and some liquid shower soap would be a welcome addition. The main problem though is that the mattresses on both beds, sadly, are incredibly uncomfortable, such that we didn't sleep well at all. The springs are extremely noisy with even the slightest movement and can be felt through the sides of the mattresses; we didn't look under the sheets, but they are either very, very old, or very cheap; these really let the property down and for £165 for the night we'd have expected to be able to sleep on comfortable beds. Sorry Tim, but I imagine you'd want to know this.
