This place was only worth half of what we paid for it access and internet being the biggest issues.

The beds were super comfortable and house was clean. A lovely new stove and oven and option of a BBQ. The shower was a good size and the dining table. Heating had been turned on for us. Hi I am sorry to report that there were a number of things that did not come up to expectation. The first most important thing was that this home was advertised as having internet services, we had to travel 10 minutes back towards Motueka before we could connect to the internet . My sister and I had different providers but neither of us had service at anytime while at the bach. This was particulary distressing as we had aged parents with us 90 and 87 years old. We had no way of communicating with family members while at the bach and certainly would not have been able to contact any emergency service should we needed to.

− The toilet holder was glued to the wall and promply fell off when trying to dispense some loo paper, the toilet space was very confined and it was like walking into a cupboard. The bathroom sink did not have a mirror above it but for some reason a very large mirror was on opposite wall above a set of drawers. The sink drain was blocked as the water took forever to drain which meant having to wait 10-15 minutes before the next person could use the bathroom, the shower head was passable but low pressure. The kitchen had new salt and pepper grinders but nothing in them. The ovenware was very limited and the rubbish bin lid did not work. The fridge icebox needed defrosted and the fridge felt like it never really got cold enough. The hot water took a very long time to come through at the kitchen sink. The dining area had an old hearth where a fireplace had been removed but not the bricks which was covered by a piece of cardboard. These bricks stuck out a long way right into the path of a hallway walk through, I placed a chair there and we used the other hall doorway to prevent trips and stubbed toes. The lounge had a TV that we could not use and the internet password also did not work. This place should not advertise they have internet access when at no point did we have any connection. The lounge seats were all placed in seperate locations which made it difficult for family communication. The bedrooms, one had drawers with all the handles broken and a cracked window, another 2 had wardrobes with no hangers. All bedrooms had no mirror on the wall but found one shoved under the luggage rack and the other just sitting ontop of the drawers not fastened. The curtains were hard to draw in one bedroom. There was actually 3 bedrooms but only 2 advertised. Parking was way too far away from the house. In the laundry the ironing board cover had a big hole in it. We did not find a first aid kit anywhere. The carpet was very tired and had holes and threadbare in places.
