Het was ok maar niet meer dan dat
6.0De guest house is heel mooi gelegen op een eilandje waar je met een boot naartoe gebracht moet worden. Hou er rekening mee dat je dus afgelegen zit. De kamer was voldoende ruim. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en Omar heeft 1 maal avondeten voor ons klaargemaakt wat ook lekker was. We hadden twee kamers en op eentje lekte de lavabo en in de andere het reservoir van het toilet. Na dit gemeld te hebben werd dit keurig hersteld.
− Er was geen goede communicatie wat ons wat verloren liet lopen. Het ophaalpunt was niet zo gemakkelijk te vinden. Bij aankomst kregen we geen verdere praktische uitleg. De avond van aankomst werden we naar een restaurant gebracht waar we niet achter gevraagd hadden (werd uiteindelijk wel netjes opgelost) Een groot minpunt was dat er een groot pak haar in de douche lag en de frigo in de kamer was degoutant vies. Er stond schimmel in!

10.0Best place I’ve ever stayed!! Perfect location for a quiet getaway. We were the only ones there so it was amazing. Staff really looked after us, booked last minute activities for us late at night. Provided pick up and drop offs with their boat whenever we needed. And the food was to die for. Best I’ve had not just in Egypt, but in general. I cannot recommend this place enough!
− Only slight downside was the amount of steps to the property. As you can see in photos, there’s plenty. Suitcases aren’t the most appropriate for carrying up them but the amazing staff carried them for us.

Idyllic views, isolated yet still close to Aswan with great room vistas & great Nubian food
9.0Amazing home made breakfast a al Nubian style from an incomparable Omar. A laconic host with steady hand on the boat and in the kitchen. Loved the roundtrip to the nearby beach and the sailing down and back from Aswan through the islands.
− Issues with Wifi beyond the reception room. Still in the building process, but when finished this will be wonderful. Overall few things to mention as it was an isolated and beautiful view of the cataracts...
