Location is convenient, not the property itself.

− Extremely NOISY. Impossible to sleep inside. The building is vibrating. Big mistake to book a property opposite the pub. Constant noise from the road. Earplugs won’t help you. BOOKING.COM should highlight those issue , accordingly it should be reflected in the price. I don’t recommend this property.

El transporte público esta cerca pero la zona no es buena para estar con familia, ruido constante toda la noche de un pub que esta delante del apartamento, borrachos gritando, vagabundos y ruido de tráfico, coches con la música muy alta, motos dando acelerones, claxon y sirenas toda la noche.

− El ruido era espantoso, durante toda la noche. Las ventanas no se podían abrir para ventilar el apartamento. Las basura estaba amontonada en la calle justo delante del apartamento y había todos los días y a todas horas. Había cucarachas. La zona no era muy buena y mucho menos para estar con niños, borrachos y vagabundos por la zona, nos daba miedo volver después de que oscureciera. La anfitriona ignoró que está con una niña y que nos daba miedo podíamos dormir porque toda la noche y noches había un ruido insoportable. La cama era incómoda.

Deceptive listing, unhelpful host, and poor Booking.com support

The room was clean on arrival and provided complimentary earplugs for the noisy road below (this should've been a clue to how my night was going to go).

− If you enjoy loud traffic noise 24 hours a day that prevents sleep, this studio is for you. The listing is highly misleading - it doesn't mention that the room is located directly above a busy road intersection and bus station, only its proximity to London attractions. It also doesn't mention bowl of complimentary earplugs provided to cope with the constant noise of buses, cars hooting, people shouting, and rubbish trucks collecting trash at 3 a.m. Despite the earplugs, it’s impossible to sleep. I booked one week in good faith, as a long-time Booking.com Genius member, and raised the issue the very next morning, before checkout time, requesting a full refund. Communication with the host, Sarah, was slow and unhelpful. She acknowledged no responsibility, claiming a refund wasn’t possible and only offering a 50% discount a few days later, if someone else rebooked my remaining days. However, she left my booking active, making it impossible for others to see the studio's availability. Booking.com’s customer support was equally disappointing. Calls dropped mid-conversation when they heard my complaint, and after 2 written complaints via email (your booking reference number@my.booking.com), I was offered only a wallet credit of 10% of the booking value, valid only for one week immediately after the booking, instead of a refund to my credit card! It’s clear the host knows about the severe noise issue yet conceals it from the listing, breaching Booking.com’s own terms about accurate descriptions. This experience felt deceptive and left me questioning both the host’s honesty and Booking.com’s willingness to protect guests.

apartment with good location, excellent housekeeping and cleanliness

We would like to thank Sara for allowing us to check in 2 hours earlier than the specified check-in time, for the quick and adequate response. There were no problems with the check-in and check-out process. The apartment is in a convenient location near Finsbury Park and has everything you need for a week's stay. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment if you don't have a problem sleeping with more noise.

− The only downside is the loud noise from the street traffic and the pub across the street. Earplugs don't help, and new windows with the highest level of soundproofing probably won't help either.

I stayed in this apartment for two weeks. The only positive point was that the apartment itself was very clean on arrival. Unfortunately, that is where it ends.

− • The apartment is located on a very noisy street, directly across from a bar, and the noise continues into the early hours of the morning. • One of the windows was broken and had been poorly patched with cardboard and carpet tiles, which were already falling off. • The shower water fluctuated from cold to extremely hot and could not be regulated. • The bed definitely needs a new mattress. • I did not feel safe, as the apartment door had no secure lock. • The stairwell leading to the apartment was very dirty and clearly not cleaned regularly. Overall, while the cleanliness inside the unit was good, the condition of the apartment and its surroundings made my stay very uncomfortable.

Brilliant location

Our host was lovely. On arrival we were in the middle of a heat wave and asked if we could borrow a fan. That evening while we were out a new fan was promptly delivered. This made our stay very comfortable. Easy instructions to get keys and perfect location.
