Sadly we had a really disappointing 4 days…needs investment to warrant the price tag!
2.0Proximity to a wedding venue we went to. Good communication from Hostwise. Bernardo the plumber who worked so hard to fix the boiler.
− The villa is extremely tired. It has not had money spent on it in order to make it what it should be. Upon arrival, it took 15 minutes to get in as the gate was jammed shut. The boiler being broken and no hot water…which was an ongoing issue and was eventually resolved. The outside furniture was warped and/or broken. It didn’t look inviting to sit on. All the cushions had been left out so were damp. The kitchen had minimal utensils and crockery for our party of 8…for example not enough glasses or bowls, 3 teaspoons and lots of missing utensils such as a grater/salad bowl. Drawer fronts were falling off. The bedding we had requested for the pull out bed had not been left as promised. The rest of the bedding did not appear fresh and clean but rather dusty and damp. The hot tub was temperamental and didn’t always work. There was no net to clean the pool. The barbecue area was extremely dirty.
