Scammers!
1.0− We didn’t stay at the property. And we didn’t get our money back. Property should not be listed at all It is a pure scam! Property is on top of a very noisy pub with loud music. The windows cannot shut . They are half way open and you could hear every single conversation going on the street, as there were restaurants and pubs on the street. The wooden floors are not stable. Doors are broken. Not clean, Toilet doors does not shut and it is very small. Absolutely disgusting awful and a genuine scam! Please stay away!
Avoid at all costs
1.0Nothing absolutely disgusting
− The fact you have to be deaf to stay there even to get any sleep at the weekend. The flat was vile dirty and uncomfortable, how anyone can stay here is a joke. The restaurant downstairs blaring music until the early hours of the morning, might as well have been in the restaurant itself as you could hear the music and conversations word for word. The bed vibrated from the sound. Then the other guests in the property coming in at the early hours causing as much noise as possible. From Friday night to Sunday night was an absolute nightmare. We live Hastings but this place needs to be avoided at all costs. Can’t watch TV at all as can’t hear it, the sofas were filthy the floors were rotten. The kitchen was filthy. Never been so uncomfortable staying somewhere. I took a video of the volume of noise in the bedroom but cannot upload on here. If you are stupid enough to stay here expect to stay out until 2am / 3am
Nice but noisy
6.0Really nice apartment on George Street. Comfortable bed, good bathroom. Tiny kitchen but everything you need for a short stay.
− Noise! The apartment is above a tapas bar which we didn't see see as a problem. Unfortunately the volume of the music made the walls and floors reverberate. There is no soundproofing or floor coverings. Also it was an event weekend, so bar was open til about 0130. Pirate weekend so the whole street was partying too. Monday and Tuesday, the bar was closed and there were no issues with noise. Essentially, I should have read the reviews which highlight the noise. Chair in the living room needs fixing, the arm kept coming off, this is also in other reviews. Easy thing to fix. Would stay again if it was quiet midweek.
The worst
1.0− Extremely noisy!!! A club is underneath the flat so good luck if you’ll want to have a good night sleep!!!
Nice but no sleep
4.0It was clean and tidy
− No sleep for 2 nights way too loud
Perfect seaside getaway.
9.0Lovely old apartment with lots of character. Walkable area with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants.
− The entry is a little small and the stairs are steep.
