Lovely little home, great location and communication with hosts. Lovely welcome basket for us and the dog. Very clean and comfortable stay - couldn’t have asked for better, thank you.

− It really was great. If I was being picky, I think it would be great to make it clearer on booking.com that dogs aren’t allowed upstairs but this is by no means a criticism, just a recommendation :)

An awful lot of care and attention has been given to making this cottage perfect for a couple / family break. It has everything you need for a seamless visit, including a really useful online guide about how to get to the cottage and use everything in it. The owners are also available and genuine in their messaging about the cottage, without being overbearing.

Loved the location. Literally minutes from Chesil Beach. The welcome pack prior to arrival was very useful. Great communication from the owners which was appreciated. Lots of space for 4 adults (and one dog). Very clean and homely. Nice outdoor space to have a few drinks or relax with a coffee when the weather is good and very friendly neighbours too! Although the on-street parking isn't guaranteed, we had no trouble finding a space nearby. We stayed during a busy, hot bank holiday weekend at the end of May and were initially worried about not being able to park near the property. However, we needn't have worried as there are plenty of car parks within a five-minute walk, and we always found a spot. The bedrooms are a decent size and the shower is amazing. Great water pressure. The fan in the top floor room was welcome given the weather. Lots of lovely little touches. A nice welcome basket and dog treats upon arrival. We were impressed by the environmentally friendly products and nods to local businesses we found around the house. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought and care into this property, and it shows.

It’s not the cheapest place to stay but it’s reassuring to see your money is spent on providing a top quality experience

I loved everything about this cottage. Immediately felt like home. The welcome basket, with delicious cookies, hot chocolate, fabulous local filter coffee, a jar of treats for the dog plus a natural meat snack for them- with a pint of milk in the fridge. The powerful shower with hot water! And the bedrooms were so comfortable, the sheets were so clean and crisp, I didn’t want to get in and ruin them! And what made it such a great experience was the natural non-toxic products around the house. From laundry and washing up liquid, to shampoo and body lotion. It’s reassuring to see this house isn’t done on the cheap with a quick buck being made. They really care for the house and the experience. The fact they’re reducing the pollutants is the icing on the cake.
