− It was shared accommodation which was not made clear on the website when booking. It stated a room in a house but not that other guests would be there. 2 men and no lock on the door was not safe.

The room was very clean. The house rules made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome

− The advertisement wasn’t obvious that this was a room in someone’s home. The list of house rules was very restrictive. The fact that you’re not allowed to cook in the property was a surprise for a self catering property & if you bring food back it has to be eaten in the kitchen. And whether we want to drink alcohol or not should be our choice - I’m not forcing anyone else to. The TV wasn’t tuned into anything. It would have been helpful to have tea making facilities in the room, rather than have to intrude in someone’s kitchen. The mattresses were obviously new, but were very soft (a personal choice). These rules were only made obvious after the payment was taken.
