Backpacker quality at mid hotel prices.

− The main reason for the low rating is the price. At 265 for a night for a 1 bedroom apartment with no air con, no hot water, shower curtains for curtains and the floor is rough plywood, it is way over priced. Backpacker accommodation is fine as long as you pay backpacker prices. We arrived at night which is definitely a bad idea. The last section of road is dirt rode and very rough. Anything less than a 4wd or SUV could find it a problem. A car with low ride height has no chance. Once arriving I rang the number after connecting to the WiFi. There is a sign on the door for WiFi code and supposed directions to the unit. However the hand drawn map shows the reader at the side of a box which had the WiFi password in. It is supposed to show you at the front of the building and you need to go round the side and back. If you don't have WiFi calling on your phone then you may not get through to the manager. Phone reception is very low to none. I was told by the manager to go round the side but I didn't know which building. There was 3 large buildings near me. It's very hard to see at night in the country. The manager did come down to let us in and explained he was asleep. We arrived at 8.45 pm so not super late. I booked the night before so just assuming I would not turn up seems an odd decision. So I would have rated it a 4 for the low standard of accommodation. Advertised as a 2 bedroom but one was locked, so it's a 1 bedroom with 1 double bed. No hot water as well. Bathroom was renovated though. I deducted another point for poor communication.
