On the beach, good simple accommodation

Right on the beach (although the google maps pin for this place was way out, it is opposite CocoRico hostel). We stayed in the Villas which were basic but had all the necessities. Bathroom was rural, so don't expect a great shower. The resort restaurant has a great view of the water and beach, great place to sit and do some work, have a coffee or some food.

− Not their fault, but when we were there Port Barton had power outages from 4am until lunchtime. The main building has a generator, but your room doesn't. Unfortunately you can't/don't want to swim straight off the beach (water and jelly fish), but a number of jaw dropping beaches are a short scooter away. Like most resorts, there can be a bit of noise from surrounding resorts.

The location is fantastic. Modern air conditioning that kept the room very comfortable. Breakfast is included and right on the beach. There is hot water in the shower when you want it. The beds were fairly comfortable with clean linen and we enjoyed having two pillows each.

− The room was smaller than what we expected based on the photos and description when booked. The description described the room with two double beds and three single beds (two being bunk beds). This was the only room available at booking. What we got was what seemed like a smaller room with two single beds. Not that we needed more beds, but the description at booking was misleading. I’m not sure we got the room we paid for, but since we didn’t need more beds, we let it go. The bedroom was worn and in need of renovation and the bathroom was equally bad and just a disaster. The window curtain was moldy and had some kind of excrement on it, maybe gecko, but it was more than just a tiny bit. I ended up washing it off in the shower, but the mold was still there. The bathroom floods when showering, despite the shower drain. There are water stains indicating this is ongoing. At one point it stopped draining completely, but to be fair, when we told the front desk, they took care of it immediately. The did not; however, bother to clean up the hair and grit that had backed up and was all over the bathroom floor. We cleaned it ourselves with tissue and napkins we had. Overall, the room is a bit sad and depressing. We made it a point to spend as little time in it as possible. But I guess that’s kind of the point of staying right on the beach.

Jedno z lepszych miejsc, w jakich sie zatrzymaliśmy. Byc może to wpływ calego miasta Port Barton, ale doceiam fakt, iż hotelik jest nie tylko przy samej plaży, ale będąc de facto w centrum wszystkiego (chyba nie ma lepiej położonego hotelu), oferuje spokój w nocy. W cenie są śniadania (male, ale ok), na miejscu jest restauracja z super tarasem przy plaży (z drugiej strony dwa kroki mamy do każdej innej restauracji plażowej). Pomagaǰa w transferze, island hopping. Bardzo mila obsluga. Polecam

− Oferowany "pokoj z widokiem na morze" to lekko naciągana sprawa. Faktycznie budnek z pokojami (2 piętra) jest przt plaży, ale stoi prostopadle do morza, więc z okna realnie widać parking. Ale jak się juz wyjdzie z pokoju - morze jest na wyciągnięcie ręki :)
