No communication, paid for accommodation that was not provided
1.0− Made a same day instant booking for urgent accommodation. Tried to contact the owner repeadedly to no avail. Arrived for check-in and the propert was closed down. Finally managed to reach the owner who said that instant booking should not have been active but someone should be there shortly to open the property. Waited around until the time that the owner had assured thr property would be opened as still no one arrived at which time I left. Now owner and Booking.com are refusing a refund.

6.0The location is good and the communication with the host was good.
− It wasn’t very clean - the air fryer was dirty from previous guests and there’s just too much stuff in the house. It was cold - they should leave a bit of wood to start a fire. Beds weren’t very comfy and it was left up to us to turn the fridges and geysers on - when arriving late, that is not ideal. Feels more like you’re staying in someone’s home than a rental property.
The stay was magnificent, host was friendly and direct with instructions and everything was nice and comfortable bedding
