Die großen Räume, die liebevolle Dekoration.

Defekte Möbel, kalte Zimmertemperatur

Felt like we had stepped back in time!

The location is excellent. Very pleasant ambience in house. Host attentive and responsive. Easy parking given city centre location.

No outdoor space - in summer this would be of benefit. There were a lot of cobwebs and dust in corners. Bedding, bathroom etc all clean. Bad smell from bin inside front door. Uneven floors - though I appreciate this is a part and parcel of a period property.

Great historical house! Clean! Would be excellent location formurder mistry dinner!

Location excellent and everything in the house very interesting and all in keeping to the period the house! Modern essentials (kitchen only), didn’t detract from the ambiance of this very old, historic house. Pub a few doors down, great staff and the town 2 mins away!

Very dark on the stairs, could do with additional lighting as painted black. No access to an outside area. Couldn’t open windows, a few propped open an inch with door stop. Only one bathroom, not a problem in our short stay, but could be given the room/bed count. Also needs highlight tape on ‘raised’ areas on the landing (trip hazard).

Fun, unique, quirky

A couple of steps that kept tripping us up! The kitchen is tiny but well equipped

An unusual experience

Very good location Well equipped Responsive and attentive owner Apartment has been decorated like in the ‘old’ days A step back in time, quaint and unusual.

The apartment was painted in dark colours (except for the kitchen n bathroom) and the furniture was a bit used (needs updating) There were many small steps and my wife missed a step, fell and injured her left foot.
