Disappointing given "exceptional" review and compared to previous accommodation in the area.
5.0Good location for dogs off the road with field to exercise.
− House was cold, thermostat 14C and gremlins kept reducing it when we turned it up. No cupboard space for food. V limited space for coats, boots and shoes. Showers poor. Not suitable for more than 5/6 people. Relatively expensive and asked to strip beds on departure!

Fossdale
10.0The house was well equipped, very clean, warm, and comfortable. Plenty of space for our group of 9 to sit comfortably. Easy access though we had a little trouble with the lock. Lots of bird life even though it was cold and we saw a red squirrel. Would be lovely in the summer. Good walks in the area. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.
− Just a couple of niggles. Would have liked a hand towel each rather than just 1 in each bathroom. And a couple of hooks in the bathrooms to hang clothes or towel whilst in the shower and in the bedrooms to hang towels to dry.
