Perfekt vacation for families
10.0Very special vacation on a great location. It's accessible only by boat. There is a boat shuttle which leaves 4 times a day from the port. The house is very sweet and perfect for up to 4 people. All rooms have air conditioning. On the island there is a small market which has open everh day and offers the most important things. For more grocery's it is possible to take the boat shuttle to go to the next port and go to a normal supermarket. There is one quite decent restaurant on the island. But in the house there is a full equipped kitchen and a nice barbecue place with sea view. What amazed me and my kids is the amount of fish around the island. Snorkeling is a must and I did not see that variety in the middle sea. The owner is very nice and we would like to come back soon.
− The only thing which is complicated is day tours, since you have to stick to the schedule of the boat.
Simply amazing
9.0Everything! The host Andrea is incredibly kind and helpful. Helped us with literally everything. The property was super clean, very comfortable and well equiped with its own kitchen, garden, patio… Perfect place when you want to get a away from crowded places with lots of tourists. Great small island with fantastic views. The shared pool is nothing but awesome, there is big one for adults and one for kids. Beaches are great for snorkeling, we had a great time with our kids who prefer to explore rather then just lay on the beach. Just be aware that there is no typical sandy beach on the island - for us it wasn’t a slightest problem, but could be for someone with small children. Sandy beaches are still easily accessible on the Carloforte island though. Definitely would recommend to friends and hope to come back one day!
− Nothing really. We went in the middle of a heatwave so AC would be great to have, but there were fans so I am pretty sure it’s more than enough during normal summer :-) Shopping has to be done on Carloforte island, including water - again, no problem for us but for someone with mobility issues it might be troublesome.
