Beautiful clean lodge, excellent comfortable beds with good quality bedding, great location.
9.0The location is a hidden gem, so peaceful but so close to the business of Hope Cove and Salcombe.
− We had two elderly, less able people in our group and the settee was very low so every time they wanted to get up off the settee they couldn’t do it by themselves. Would be lovely if there was at least one higher comfy chair suitable for an elderly person or disabled person to get in and out of by themselves.

10.0Peaceful, well equipped, good quality bedding.
− Although the bedding was quality, feathers don’t suit everyone and we had to remove from my son’s bed due to allergies. Maybe this could be mentioned in the notes. Also we couldn’t find a manual, instructions for the property and had to ring maintenance to get the fridge turned up, excellent response to this though and soon sorted.
Spacious lodge, great coastal walks and beach in short walking distance
10.0Very spacious main living area and bedrooms. One bathroom with large walk in shower and second bathroom with bath/shower combination. Very well equipped with bed linens and towels provided. Very well stocked kitchen. Very quiet site with great coast path walks on the door step and a lovely beach within walking distance. Local village has a lovely pub and very nice food (old inn, Malborough), with small Asda and petrol station. I brought my parents who are both registered disabled and use walking sticks and would definitely book again as it met everyone’s needs.
