9.0We spent a week at Etti's House (6 people) at the end of the August. The house is super located, beautiful views of the lake. Feasting together outside especially in the evening gave us a lot of pleasure because of the fantastic views and atmosphere of this place. We felt at ease, isolated from the bustle of the city. The descent and the entrance to the town required some effort (20 minutes). The host Francesco is very, very friendly to quests, lives nearby and is helpful at all times. The house is worth recomending for a group of friends or family who do not have the requirments of the standard of a five-star hotel. Grazyna i Jozef from Poland and their family.
A very authentic traditional style house in the hills above Malcesine
8.0A traditional style house sat on the hillside with fantastic views. Not luxurious, but it met all our needs - very authentic! Unsurprisingly, the short walk up from the town was steep and hot, but that's the price for those views! The host was very friendly and responsive when we had a couple of issues with the balcony and kettle. They were sorted immediately. Would definitely recommend.
− My number one request would be to have a tall standing fan in each of the bedrooms. It was uncomfortably hot during the night and very difficult to get some sleep in hot weather. The furnishings may need updating at some point for more comfort.
