8.0Location. Well fitted unit. Lovely quiet site.
− Bed needs a matress protector due to the springs. Dust & cobwebs everywhere. 20 minute clean and all good. Needed to call for barrier code.
Disappointing.
5.0Location great , 2nd time we have stayed on the site. Flamingo land is less then 10 minutes away, (although wouldn't recommend) Lovely quite site. Lovely little town less then 6 minutes the other way.
− WiFi and TV not working I did manage to get in touch with someone from Prestige( who now owns it), they said they would get someone to call in but never did. Previous people who stayed had same issue. Main bedroom smelt of smoke. Constrictive criticism=too many pots and pans in the kitchen, nowhere to store our food.
Difficult to contact owners

− Difficult to contact the property owners, WiFi wasn’t working despite being advertised as included. No instructions given to get through the site barrier. Price was high for the above factors not to be included
Family holiday
10.0The lodge was so gorgeous and the location so peaceful.
− When we arrived at Waterlily Lodge there was already a family staying there. We phoned the caretaker and she advised us that there was another available lodge for us. The children where so upset as they had been looking forward to the stay. However they where happy once a lodge was found for us.
We chose Waterlily lodge as it was relatively near Castle Howard and despite a severe storm that weekend, the facilities
10.0Clean, tidy and very comfortable and the lit up Christmas Tree, was a lovely touch!
− The only negative thing concerned the toilet seat, as the fixings (although tight), had excessive lateral movement, I.e. the surface facing bar, could easily slip out of the restraining hole in the casing. So probably a better fitting seat would be desirable.
