Great location, clean, nicely decorated home, but...
8.0The location and cleanliness of the house.
− The bathroom definitely needs a remodel. The condition of the tub and shower is unacceptable for the price charged for the rental. I tried to clean the backyard tabletop and a chair, but the house didn't have any cleaner available. I raked the grass but didn't know where to put the dead leaves and flowers. There wasn't an inside broom to sweep the floors.
Perfect place to stay, very roomy and in the perfect location
9.0Excellent location— right next door to Sharks Cove, which is the snorkeling & tide pooling area. Slightly farther walk to Three Tables (small beach with lots of shade), and about 10 minutes walk to Waimea Bay which is the big beautiful sandy beach with the jumping rock. And yet it’s in a quiet residential neighborhood that doesn’t feel touristy. It even has a little yard. We also appreciated having a machine washer & dryer to do laundry!
This is a beautiful location, convenient to many beaches and a good value for the North Shore.

− This is partly our fault, but we arrived after dark and it was difficult to determine the house gate. Despite being provided directions, there were two gates and it was not clear which we should be entering. Property number was hidden behind plants.

− Roof began leaking in kitchen during stay.
Overall a good place, could be great if the air conditioning was upgraded.
7.0The location was fantastic, right by everything on the north shore. The size of the place and beds were perfect for my five person family. We had everything we needed to cook during our stay and the grocery store is so close. Great beaches to walk to or a very short drive.
− The switches were a bit crazy to figure out but manageable. Parking was tricky when someone came in the other location and parked in the center of the parking area so our van didn't fit. The biggest frustration for us was that the location said it was air conditioned, but it only had one window air conditioner in the main living room that never chilled the bedrooms very well and chilled sleeping is huge for us.
