Fantastic location walking distance to everything we needed beautifully kept flat modern and clean really helpful owners checking in making sure we had everything

− The only thing to comment on would be the heat but there’s nothing anyone could’ve done about that they provided fans and kept curtains closed for us when we arrived

Lovely stylish property with lovely finishing touches. Free parking. Walking distance to shops, beach, restaurants etc.

− It was very warm during the exceptionally hot weather we had. However, there were a number of fans in the property which helped.

Nice apartment, but not for us

Inside the apartment was very clean and the spaces were really impressive with cool interiors - really nice

− The property is listed as having “on-site private parking,” which was a key factor in our booking. However, on the day of arrival, the instructions simply said to “park in any available space.” While we were fortunate to find a spot when we arrived, it quickly became clear that spaces were very limited and filled up fast. There appeared to be more permits than spaces, and we felt that if we moved the car, we might not be able to park again on return. We had planned to use the car for meals and day trips, but due to the uncertainty around parking, we felt unable to do so. When we raised this with the host, we were told that the spaces are managed by a third-party company and not guaranteed — which contradicts the listing’s description. It would be more accurate if the listing clarified that parking is available but not assured. We also spoke to a neighbour who mentioned previous issues with car break-ins, which added to our hesitation about leaving the vehicle unattended. In terms of location, we didn’t feel entirely comfortable walking in the immediate area. There were individuals loitering nearby and in alleyways leading to the town and beach, which made us feel uneasy as a family. While we understand that urban areas can be diverse, the atmosphere wasn’t what we expected from the listing. Due to these concerns, we decided to leave after two nights of our four-night stay. The apartment itself was clean and matched the photos, but the parking situation and surrounding environment made it difficult for us to fully enjoy our visit.

Great location...5 minutes walk from the town centre, beach and the pier. Great penthouse apartment with 2 bedrooms - with a bathroom each so no need to share! It has been tastefully decorated throughout and had lovely touches like welcome bottles of water, tea bags and milk. Also a beach bag and beach mat which was so handy. The host has clearly taken her time to consider everything and it is excellently equipped.

− No complaints! Air con in the bedrooms would be the ultimate finishing touch but most properties don't offer that anyway and there are fans provided for the Summer months.

It was clean, compact, but still enough space for us to feel comfortable and cozy. The floor to ceiling windows were lovely to let light stream in and also to look out of. The two bathrooms were great and allowed us to get ready quicker without feeling cramped.

− There didn’t seem to be a microwave, which was a shame. And if indeed the oven was a microwave oven, it wasn’t clear how to use it at all - but it appeared to be a regular oven anyway. Also, the remote control is really playing up and made it very difficult to navigate the TV. It was really difficult just to select an app to watch.
