− We hadden een of meerdere muizen in de keuken. Etenswaar goed opbergen in kastjes waar de muis niet bij kan. Ook nieuwsgierige apen de op bezoek komen voor eten. Zijn erg vrijpostig. Gingen uiteindelijk vanzelf weg.

It's a paradise on Earth - garden of Eden next to the jungle. The house was a minimalist style villa with everything my family (me, my wife, 1 year old toddler, and our moms) needed. Nothing too fancy or over the top, but "exactly how I would have built it" I found my self thinking. The villa vibe reminded me Bali, meant in the nicest possible way. The garden was huge and well kept. Pool was cleaned every day and perfect to cool down. Our toddler loved exploring around the garden and swimming with us. At first we were little anxious about the little one running around the open pool and the floor tiles around the pool which get slippery when wet, but we managed to stay alive. What made the villa exceed our expectations was the location. It's hugged by the jungle surrounding it, really close to the main area. Meaning there were the most beautiful kingfishers, butterflies flying around, leaf monkeys enjoying theirselves just by the edge of the garden, macaques drinking from the pool, geckos making sweet noises etc. But getting a Grab to bring us food or get us moving was super easy. 15 min walk to the beach surrounded by views to the fields full of lovely water buffalos (and again, amazing birds flying around). Hosts were super nice - providing wholesome vibes, extra coffee tabs for the machine, knowledge of the island and sending cleaners who were nice as well. Extra: The booklet let on the premise was full of good recommendations for foodies.

− Now that's just being picky - Wet tiles around the pool area makes it slippery. :)

Really nice villa out in the paddy fields

Lovely villa, very clean, helpful staff. We stayed longer than originally planned and they did a mid-trip clean for us and provided fresh towels etc. Check out was very fast and easy and our flight was delayed so they allowed us an extra 2 hours given no booking that night which made a very big difference to us, since hacking around cenang with bags would have been less fun.

− Very minor things - I would stay again, but take real coffee to save daily ordering from Zus. I think there is some soft lighting outside but we couldn't get it working (I'm sure will be resolved as soon as the host sees this though), so we used the bright outdoor lights which attract the bugs a bit (surprisingly few mozzies in the area though). Very comfortable overall and well-equipped enough for cooking.
