This was a lovely historic home, within easy walking distance of the city and attractions, yet very quiet inside. The home has a twin room downstairs and a toilet. There are separate dining and lounge rooms and then an open plan kitchen/eating/lounge at the back opening onto a north facing veranda. It has a full sized kitchen with every utensil you could need. Upstairs are three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, and a laundry and ironing area. Overall it is very well appointed.

− Whilst not really a complaint, rather what people need to know. 1 The stairs are steep, and whilst there is a toilet on the lower floor, to use the bathroom you have to go upstairs. This may be important to know if people have mobility issues. 2 The free parking on the street outside is limited to 2 hours from 10am to 4pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive. Not a problem if you are going out but could be an issue if you plan to leave the car and explore. There is a paid parking garage with a 10 minute walk.

Fantastic break in Hobart for a group of friends to go the the footy.

House is very well appointed. Many rooms, excellent facilities in the kitchen, sun-soaked back living room, deck with bbq. Ten minutes walk from Salamanca. Coffee shops, pubs and restaurants very close. Couldn't fault this place.

Our team travelled in from PNG to attend Australian Critical Care Nurses, Annual Education Meeting which was held at Hobart. We enjoyed every moment. The house was absolutely the best choice we did. Thank you
