bien situé et à côté du marché municipal. Très belle vue du village et des environs.

− Il faut aller chercher les clés à une autre adresse (10 min à pied). De la moisissure dans la chambre.

Hot shower, close to the square. Plenty of space.

− Couldn't access all of the wardrobe. Black mould down the walls in both bedrooms. Shower needed a better clean, it wasn't clean.

We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. The flat is in the absolute centre of the town, yet is a bit farther from streets filled with tourists.

− We booked this flat to be closer to what this village truly offers its locals (mercado, quiet streets where locals connect and go about with their day-to-day lives), instead of choosing busier parts of town dotted with hotels and villas with foreigners. We certainly didn't expect an elderly British couple watching their TV on full blast well after 11pm. The TV was so loud it was impossible to do anything in the living room in the afternoons and evenings at all. As a bonus, the TV echoed into our bedroom too. When reprimanded, instead of their being considerate and finding common ground, they showered us with sneering remarks of 'you go to bed early' and 'the Spanish people are loud too', as well as gaslighting 'were you really at home the whole evening that you could hear us?' Indeed, we did expect to deal with some noise in Mijas in one way or another, but what we didn't expect was an obnoxiously inconsiderate and arrogant couple who self-righteously took 'Spanish way of life' to the next level. Ongoing construction work in commercial space downstairs only added to the bitterness. The flat lacks overall cleanliness. I don't exaggerate when I say that the floors were sticky, and my partner had to fill in a bucket with soapy water the very next morning, and wipe them – the floor was so filthy the rags were brown with dirt, not to mention the amount of human hair (not ours) which she encountered. The floor should be hoovered, and then wiped with a clean cloth and not with a dirty mop! I'm not surprised that there are ants living for free in the flat when they are lured in by the sticky floors. Last but not least, there was mold growing in one of the bedrooms. A dishwashing sponge and more than one roll of toilet paper should have been provided. We had to buy multipacks for just a couple of days. Internet was slow, especially in the evenings.

Tiene una ubicación excelente, el piso es muy mono y acogedor, y no echamos de menos nada en él.
