Our group of four had a fantastic stay at Bodhi Villa. We felt very welcome and taken care of :)

A lovely villa in a natural surrounding

We stayed at Bodhi Villa for more than two weeks and we really enjoyed our time there. It is close enough to the main road so you can walk there, but far away from the street noise. Our small family rented the whole place and having the whole 1st floor to us meant we had heaps of space and privacy (the hosting family lives on the 2nd floor that has it’s own entrance). There is a big and lush garden with bustling wildlife and the hosting family is very sweet and very helpful. Getting around was easy since the host provides you with two tuktuk driver contacts - we used Shiroman for all our rides (even to Galle and back) and we were very satisfied with him. They have a sweet old dog named Brownie who will greet you every time you come back to the villa and a lovely cat who occasionally comes inside the villa to have an afternoon nap, if you invite him :)

− One thing to keep in mind that the railroad passes right behind the villa’s garden wall, but weirdly it didn’t bother us and never woke our 2 year old. The sound of the train is something that you get used to quickly in Ahangama.

House was very nice and clean Family hosts was so kind and caring with us and our baby. We felt in safe place in the beautiful garden. Very good memories.
