Secluded cabin feel but still close to amenities!
9.0I loved the location and how open and big the home was. It felt like we were in a cabin in the woods but still in walking distance of amenities and civilization.
− We had a few hiccups with a leaking toilet and no light in the loft, most likely a burnt out bulb. It did not affect our stay, I let the owner know immediately and she was very responsive. We will stay again next year!
It was convenient for us and would like to stay again next time visit family.
9.0We liked the location we were visiting family and we liked that we could stay together in a house rather than book two rooms in motel.
− The mattresses in the upstairs bed room were not comfortable for the kids.

4.0I love the wood interior very nice
− The host called my phone and claimed there was a party going on when there wasn’t. She believed people were coming in and out of the house when they were just DoorDashers dropping our stuff off. invited her to come by and see for herself. She proceeded to threaten me saying she was going to go to my place of work. The house is nice but the host isn’t!

− Lots of pet hair ( I understand it's pet friendly) after we cleaned more it was perfect.

10.0The house was very open and spacious, which was quite unexpected. We enjoyed the fact that the home was set alone on the end of a dead end road - far enough back from neighbors for privacy, but still close enough to the main road to access local businesses and restaurants. Oh and based on the fact that it was at the end of a wooded dead end road, the views of the trees and surrounding plant life were so interesting! Our visit was near the end of July - the forest surrounding the wrap around porch was very nice to look at, especially at night. Both nights we stayed, those woods were filled with fireflies and it made for a really memorable sight. Our group staying has decided to nickname the rental "Firefly Woods" to remember such a great trip :)
− The only hiccup was the loft area where some of the beds were located had a tough time cooling down from air conditioning. We were able to stay comfortable using a combination of ceiling fan and a little floor fan we found in the laundry room. It made the sleeping arrangements much more comfortable.
