Appalling, dirty caravan and owners are rude and do not care!

The location is excellent and you are not overlooked by anyone when in the hot tub

− We arrived and the property was dirty, there was a mouldy piece of bread in the bedroom and a foul smell when you open the bedroom door. food wrappers and mouldy crumbs in the draws in the living room, a stain on the living room floor and all batteries were removed from all remotes in the caravan so we were not able to put the tv on at all! There were stains on the travel cot which our one year old had to sleep on as we had no other option, we also had ants all over the side in the kitchen when we arrived which to me just screams dirty! We complained to booking.com the day we got there and that night we then received a message from the owners being rude asking why we have sent a complaint when there’s nothing wrong before even asking us. Photos were sent to them and we never had a reply at all. We left an item at the caravan and have enquired about it more than once but have had no reply from them, they just want the money then they don’t care! This is far from a luxury caravan stay and we are extremely disappointed with the caravan and the customer service from the owners. The caravan site is amazing and we will be returning there but we will be booking with someone else

The hot tub

− Generally Disappointed We didn’t get the key safe number until I messaged -on the day we arrived. Soon after we arrived I messaged about ants in many places inside the caravan -three times we found them in the kettle! I messaged about wifi numbers but no reply - as far as I know we didn’t receive a welcome letter for General instructions. I requested a high chair but they didn’t get back to me. We found only a few pieces on a toilet roll and no spare in a caravan for eight people. The waste pipe - I think from the toilet and or shower overflowed to the outside where there was rubbish, cans and wine bottles. We didn’t have any shelves in the oven. One bent and very battered saucepan. I see a number of these points were mentioned before in reviews last year.

Very quiet which was lovely, had everything you need to cook etc, and beds were lovely too nice and comfortable, the whole caravan was really nice and had nice seating area outside, plus we wasn’t stuck for anything to watch in the evenings as tvs had everything you needed to watch film etc , overall had a really nice time thankyou and dog had a nice time too he was right at home 🏡, thankyou for having us! X

− The only thing really was that there was no little hand towels in the bathrooms for drying your hands after washing them
