10.0Everything. Quirky, attention to details is outstanding. Everything you could need and more. We were celebrating a special birthday and the hosts went above and beyond to help. We visited the castle which is a must, and an unexpected free extra. Macabre but fascinating, you can really feel the history. Will definitely be going back.

Great property and great location, leading to a great vacation.
9.0Perfect location, quiet and rural. This property, being the old castle gate lodge, has exquisite charm and quirkiness. Super quick communication and a detailed welcome pack from the owner, Max Wakefield, who incidentally has an extremely impressive and interesting background. A great holiday ‘home from home’ and highly recommended.

8.0We loved the fact that we were in our very own mini castle,just us and the wild life,and central to where we were visiting. And my 92 year old mum absolutely loved it, For her it was special. Thank you X
