− Absolutely disgusted by the situation that happened on Friday. We booked the accommodation at 97 Kingsland Road, London E2 8AG via booking.com in January, for Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd August. I specifically booked the accommodation because it was a 3 minute walk from the venue of my daughter’s wedding on Saturday 22nd August, and I was bringing my elderly parents, who are both in their 80s and with health conditions, and who are not used to busy cities and lots of noise and people. I wanted to ensure that we were as near as possible to make it easy for them on the day of the wedding, without the stress of having to worry about getting around London. Payment was taken a week prior to the trip, and other communication about our stay was sent - nothing to indicate there would be a problem on arrival On Friday 21st we had already travelled 4 hours by train and tube. On arriving at our accommodation we discovered (after some time trying and failing to open the door with the keycode we had been sent) that it had been double booked - the current occupant came and told us. My poor elderly parents were already exhausted by this time and just wanted to get into our accommodation to rest. My mother then became shaky and tearful and my dad was so stressed we were worried he might have a heart attack or a stroke. We were left stranded at the side of a very busy road, trying to find answers. Both phone numbers I had been given as contact did not answer. While I comforted my elderly parents, my brother-in-law tried to find alternative accommodation for our party of 6, which was considerably more expensive because we had to book it at the last minute. We also had to pay additional taxi costs because the last-minute accommodation was too far from the venue for my elderly parents to walk, and after all the stress and upset it was out of the question to attempt to get them on the tube or train again.

− It was dirty, thick layers of dust and dirt electrical extension leads everywhere, Stuck to walls. Cold water in top bathroom. Shower hose not long enough to allow a standing shower. Dirty kitchens. Broken freezer. Holes on the floor in the bathroom. Old worn wooden toilet seat. No cooking implements in one kitchen. Amazon delivery driver let himself in ! As he had the door code. Hole in the kitchen wall leading to a bedroom. Stains all over carpets. Left clean/dirty laundry in the stairwell, whole stay. Broken latch on the main door day 2 NO one came to fix it

Líbila se nám lokace, kolem bylo spousta dobrých podniků, kaváren a restaurací.

− Bohužel naše zkušenost s ubytováním byla velmi špatná. Největším problémem byla komunikace s hostitelem. Na zprávy nereagoval dlouho před pobytem ani v den příjezdu, ani po dobu pobytu a vstupní informace jsme obdrželi až po urgenci přes Booking. Apartmány působily zanedbaně a neodpovídaly prezentované kvalitě. Úklid byl pouze povrchní, špinavé rohy, lepkavé skříňky, znečištěné polštáře, drobky a zbytky jídla v gauči. V jedné z kuchyň navíc chybělo kuchyňské vybavení a nacházela se zde pouze nevyzvednutá pošta, která se také válela na zemi za vstupními dveřmi. Nejzávažnějším problémem byl zatékající strop v jedné ložnici. Každý večer po návratu byla mokrá postel včetně povlečení, přikrývky i matrace, přičemž situace nebyla nijak řešena. V kombinaci s nefunkčním topením to výrazně snížilo komfort pobytu. Zklamáním byla také terasa, která spíše připomínala ptačí voliéru než místo k posezení. Celkově ubytování působilo dlouhodobě neudržovaným dojmem a vzhledem ke stavu apartmánů i přístupu hostitele jej bohužel nemůžeme doporučit.

Good for the price you pay and would recommend with a big group

Easy accesible appartment with enough space for a group of 11. Great lively neighbourhood for a bite and drink.

− The showers could use replacement and the outdoor area has some gaps where pigeons found their way through. It did not impact our stay in any negative way though
