Lovely location except for the delayed entry to house due to cleaners running late

− The house was still been cleaned when we arrived. We had to wait an hour before we could enter after a long drive. This was disappointing as we arrived at 3pm.

Very clean. High quality furniture and fittings. I was concerned about booking the property due to previous reports about lack of cleanliness. Was very happy with how clean everything was. Location is good and it’s got a lovely bush setting. Very spacious.

Comfortable beds, exceptionally clean.

Strong smell of paint.

The property was clean and modern and close to all amenities. It was well appointed and the beds were comfortable, however the strong smell of paint overshadowed what would have been a lovely stay.

− The property had been painted with enamel paint two weeks prior to out stay and the strong smell hit you the moment you opened the door. The staff were unhelpful ,suggesting we open all the doors and windows to air it out. However being the middle of winter ,we were not happy with the idea but did do what they suggested,but it didn't change anything. We either had to put up with the smell or the cold. Not the way we planned to spend our break. The staff didn't bother to check back with us to see how it was going or even bother to come to the property to see what we were saying. So,while the property was lovely, the smell and lack of service from the staff made staying there unpleasant. So,if you plan to stay there in the next week or two, DON'T it smells no matter what the staff tell you.

Great location for our 3 night Dunsborough holiday. The property was perfect for 2 couples and had all we needed and well set out. Nice outside area overlooking some bush and got visits from black skinks and bandicoots. Traffic noise was noticeable outside but not from inside.
