Calm tropical atmosphere in a beautiful location

The view from the balcony is magnificent. The house itself is nice, clean and water in the shower is hot, very hot. The house has a nice tropical atmosphere and the kitchen is well equipped. There is also a fridge in the room and a laundry machine downstairs. The house owners were very friendly. They did everything for me to enjoy my time in Rodrigues Island. Thank you very much!

− The house: There could have been some furniture on the balcony. Now everything is inside the house and it would be nice to fully enjoy the view outside. Surroundings: 2 km uphill to the nearest bus stop if you decide to travel like me (by local buses and feet) and angry stray dogs all around. You should be in a decent shape if you decide to explore the island by walking. And hold a stick in your hands in case of stray dogs. They avoid you if you have something in your hands. Safety: This has nothing to do with an accommodation itself but I almost got robbed near Palisades in the end of this 2 km road. Stay vigilant when you're leaving the town and start to walk back. An intoxicated woman started to follow me when I stepped out from the bus in Palisades. I soon recognized that she was following me (next to the basketball field) and came to walk right next to me, disturbingly close. She spoke creole so I didn't understand a word. Luckily a motorcycle passed by and the guy on the motorcycle turned back quickly. The man told me that this woman is very dangerous and she will rob me if I continue any further with her. My hero offered me a ride back home. And oh, when we drove about 200 meters, there was a man standing next to the road with a machete. I'm not sure if this man had anything to do with this case but I'm pretty sure I was marked well before I arrived in Palisades.

J'ai beaucoup aimé l'accueil de Jeannette et je lui en suis reconnaissant. La vue sur place est simplement à coupé le souffle !

Jeannette sait accueillir les gens souriante et chaleureuse, au petit soin elle se préoccupe que votre séjour se passe bien grâce a son super réseau de connaissance. C'est sur on reviendra chez Jeannette et la cuisine... excellente. Une très belle personne.

Tout ! L'accueil de Jeannette qui est une perle et qui nous a bien aidé pendant notre séjour, la vue de l'appartement qui est très propre et très bien placé pour visiter Rodrigues, la literie parfaite. Si nous retournons à Rodrigues, nous retrouverons avec grand plaisir cet appartement et cette super hôte.
