The owners were really nice. The place was very clean, sound was good. They had cups, wine glasses, champagne glasses, cooking appliances, pots, pans and some complimentary items aside. Very well done. Felt like a hotel but more comfortable. I had a great stay. I would book again.

The appliances in the kitchen were fairly new. Also, the location was great.

− When I arrived, the apartment had a strong smell. It smelled like a pipe.

− My husband, my 7 week old and myself booked this unit for 14 days, throughout our shortened 9 day stay myself and my husband were waking up to red bites on our arms and legs. After washing the sheets and inspecting the headboard in one of the rooms it was found to have bed bugs. We did terminate our stay to protect ourselves and our belongings. I incurred a loss of over $700 due to laundering and having to find last minutes accommodations. I was refunded only the remaining days of our stay- putting myself and my family at a loss of close to $500, when I inquired about a refund to cover the total cost of the new accommodations I was denied due to having been offered to change the sheets/remove the bed (this would put my family at risk of additional bites and transferring bugs), the owner not having the correct insurance and the owner being at a loss due to us leaving our stay wary and them refunding our remaining days (270$). I am beyond beside myself at this interaction, and fear that the owners have not addressed the issue, aka bed bugs.

The unit was bright and spacious and nicely decorated and close to the venue where we would spend the evening.

− I think the unit should have been advertised as a basement apartment within a family home with small children. We arrived in the afternoon after a long drive and wanted to rest and couldn't because you could hear the children upstairs running, laughing, crying, dropping toys and a parent communicating with the children. It was very noisy. The apartment was also very cold even though it had heating units within both bedrooms. If the unit had been advertised, as we've suggested above, we would have chosen something else and as a mother of four, I understand there would be children but when you are taking a mini vacation you don't want to hear children and you need peace and quiet in order to rest and enjoy your surroundings. It was advertised as an apartment and the natural assumption that it would have been a condo inside of a building. When we arrived at a private home we were very uncomfortable about entering the premises and unsure as to or not. We were in the right spot. We had to contact the owner as we thought we were there only to pick up the keys as it states in the directions given, however it was to get the code that would give us access to the digital lock on the front and basement door.
