3.0Good location. Clean apartment.
− Unfortunately, a group of roofers used ladders to climb up onto our deck - unannounced - at 8 AM. We were quite shocked since there is limited window covering and here they were essentially looking at us. Haven’t had this experience anywhere needless to say, we want be returning.

Would never stay here again and can't recommend.

− They charge you $75 per night (total of $225 for three night stay) for cleaning and didn’t clean once. You can’t control temperature so might, as I did, freeze. On the last morning, the host messaged me to ask for the “pomp” (whatever that was …) from the bathroom. Then they showed up at the door to come and get it. A bit more respect for your client’s privacy would be appreciated. Lastly, Their communication style was a little aggressive - shall we say Eastern European? In summary the apartment had everything one might need, the style wasn’t quite mine but it was mostly the client service and temperature controls that were the issue. Their response to my review gives a good flavour of what to expect: - I don't believe I assaulted anyone but your 'friend' showed up at the door as I was leaving so I let him in and left. - "I have an all right to ask any thing what belongs too my place!" - maybe wait until your paying clients have left or go to a hardware store and buy your own toilet plunger ("pomp") - My issues relate to a pricing issue, either you're being devious trying to avoid paying commission to Booking.com and not delivering the service I paid for OR a Booking.com issue - "You got for free: bottle of vine, coffee, tea, WiFi, parking.towels,linens and utilities,like water, electricity, gas.its all complimentary!" - Free? Really? Or just included? A marketing incentive to increase bookings and covered by your profit? - My Genius discount is connected to my loyalty to Booking.com
