− There was a strong smell of damp mainly downstairs, I think it was coming for the basement. The jack and gill bathroom upstairs made for an interesting stay and I can’t recall it being mentioned on the description when I booked
A 3 night break in a lovely characterful cottage in the middle of a quiet Northumberland village .
9.0Cosy, comfortable and sparkling clean . Great location for the station (we did not bring a car) and shops .
− Some basic cooking essentials like tea and coffee would have been welcome .
