Location is nice and private, in the woods, quiet.

− No house manual for things like operating the heater - many different light switches everywhere that seemed to go to nothing?

The two-bedroom bargain for the area could use a bit more upkeep.

The price is quite reasonable, and the location is conveniently situated

− the 2nd bedroom is so tight you can hardly turn around without bumping into something.

Location was close to family staying near by. We liked the layout of he kitchen/living area. Makes good use of the small space.

− The cabin smells very musty. You’ll notice it the moment you open the door. We opened windows a lot but it was still noticeable. I have a hard time with odd smells so that would keep me from ever staying here again. There was an issue with the electrical our 4th day there. Several lights in one part of cabin started flickering and then we heard a crackling sound near the electrical panel. We turned off all the lights that had been flickering and didn’t hear crackling again. The next morning I noticed the coffee pot wouldn’t work and discovered the fridge lost power. My husband spoke to someone from the Kabino office and they figured out a breaker had flipped. When he flipped it back, the crackling noise started again, so he left it off. They offered to try to get an electrician out but we were leaving the next day and also didn’t want to spend vacation coordinating with an electrician. We packed our food into the cooler for our last night. We were eager to leave and concerned about electrical hazards there. For the price we paid per night, I’m really disappointed. I wasn’t expecting a posh cabin, but feel this place should be listed for half the price.
