Nothing. Premises looked nothing like the online pictures.

Premises insecure, with sticky tape holding the door lock together (as per picture) Stains over the furniture. Half eaten food left in cupboards. Biscuits underneath the bed sofa. Piss stains on the quilt. It was basically like a very poor youth hostel

Comfortable stay in St Albans

10.0

Bright and spacious 2 bed in a great St Albans location. The flat is beautifully decorated, clean, and well looked after, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the host was smooth and clear, and check-in was simple with easy instructions. I would happily stay here with my family again.

Needed some attention

6.0

Location was good, easy to find It was spacious

We felt that the place needed attention- door handle missing on one of the bedrooms,(my son got trapped ) uncomfortable sofa and not big enough comfy seating for 5, mouldy bathroom. Very untidy garden.

Worst property I've stayed in for a decade of booking.com and it's competitor. Don't bother

The beds if it was quiet ...

The location. Awful directions saying take the alley to the left but depending on how you've parked left is subjective and there's an alley right next to your car and at the property number where the car park is based so it felt totally logical to be using the alley of number 66 especially when you've reversed into the space and it's on the left. They need to change their directions and if they aren't going to then they need to ensure that there's no chance of anyone using the alley of number 66 seeing as there's no lighting and it's very uneven with lots of holes. You can't see a thing. We arrived at 11pm. Poor directions which led to us going the wrong way, falling on a gap in an unlit garden and going to hospital. That wasn't even the worst part, as someone who is a light sleeper I took my usual earplugs and still didn't get more than an hour's sleep each night due to the upstairs flat banging at all hours. I messaged the host and did not get a reply. Genuinely wanted to cry which may sound extreme but if you've had no sleep then you'll understand. It ruined my weekend because I felt too unwell due to fatigue to continue with our plans. I felt robbed of the booking and am in a dispute. The review score felt generous but there's plenty of poor reviews on this property where people have criticised many aspects but still awarded a 7 for some reason so I will not do that. And that says a lot for me because I genuinely never leave bad reviews. The property itself is okay. No facilities but none expected I guess. Beds were comfy. Worn in parts. Bedroom door handle fell off meaning I literally couldn't get out of the room. Not very clean. The building it's situated in looks a bit sketchy. When we got there there was a random guy outside in a high Vis jacket who told us the property was full and said we needed to go to right (opposite of directions).
