− It was very cold and windy when we were there, not their fault but made upstairs quite loud and difficult to sleep. Some kind of heater would be nice

Auch ohne Auto war die Lage gut, wir konnten vieles zu Fuss erreichen oder nutzten Taxis. Alles was man braucht war da und noch mehr.über den Tumbler waren wir sehr froh. Den offenen Kamin haben wir sehr genossen, es war auch ausreichend Holz da. Die Betten waren bequem und auch in der Küche konnten wir alles zubereiten, da es an nichts fehlte.

A lovely well equipped cabana, very clean, comfortable and nicely designed. Was private and secure. Only wish we stayed a few more days.

It was such a pleasure to call this spot home for a couple weeks! This cabin is so homey and well-appointed. The appliances seemed new and functioned without problems, and we couldn't have been more grateful for the dedicated washer/dryer. With an abundance of towels, dishes, kitchen appliances/supplies, extra blankets, and electrical outlets, it felt like we had everything we needed and more! It was perfectly in the middle of everything we needed, with about 20-25 minutes walking to downtown Santa Elena and a similar distance to our other destinations around Monteverde. We were very active during our time in Costa Rica and it was so nice to have a safe, warm, comfortable place to return to after long days of work or exploring that really felt like a home. It was the perfect cozy size for four of us, and the loft layout is darling! The back balcony and front table were perfect places to sit and enjoy the outdoors, and you can see the gulf of Nicoya from the balcony! We spent a lot of time working on computers when we were home and the internet/electrical access met our needs easily. Our hosts were so friendly, helpful, communicative, and generous, making sure we had what we needed but giving us lots of space (shoutout Mauricio and Roger!). I also loved the art on the walls from local artists. The space was so colorful and lively, but serene at the same time. I really cannot emphasize enough how much we hit the jackpot with this place, and I hope to return someday soon! − The kitchen/dining/living area is a little cramped, but that was an inconsequential detail for us and makes sense for the size of the house. If we had done more cooking (and/or used more of the small kitchen appliances other than the coffee maker) we probably would've felt the need for more counter space, but it was perfect for us doing minimal/basic cooking and we were able to navigate the space pretty easily without too many cooks in the kitchen, so to speak.

Logement très confortable. Propreté impeccable. Sanitaires parfaits. Lave linge et sèche linge. Literie confortable. Cuisine bien équipée.

− Cuisinière un peu vieillotte (plaques électriques). Manque des rideaux aux fenêtres du haut pour la lumière du matin.
