A very beautiful place to stay to discover the island.

Very cosy, clean, with a nice view. Good distance to neighboring properties, so there is privacy. The host was very responsive and helpful.

− You can’t park your car at the property. You need to park on the street. It is easy to park quite close so it is not a big problem. But when you arrive, be prepared to carry your suitcases.

Quiet villa with amazing views!

Villa is lovely, beautifully decorated, plenty of space, super comfortable beds, nice little garden and pool, an amazing sea views from the top terrace, its in a hill village so views from everywhere were amazing. There is 3 bedrooms and 3 baths so good if you are a big group. Kevin was a super host, always available for anything we need. You’ll find in the villa most of the basics you need for a short stay. They provide comfy travel cot for our baby and highchair, so very useful. We didn’t know what we’ll find when we booked as it had no reviews but really happy with the choice, We really enjoyed our stay. There is a very small supermarket 15 min walk, and plenty of bars with nice food, but if you drive 7 min to caleta beach the supermarket is bigger and plenty of restaurant with nice views an amazing food. Location is great is you want a bit of beach time in Caleta, warm enough for swimming and a bit of mountains in the north( half and hour drive). We highly recommend this place if you look for tranquil holidays, surrounded by banana trees.

− Parking is not idilic as most of the time we have to park on the road, what for us was weird but it seems to be normal in Madeira so we didn’t have problems, our car was fine every morning when we came back to it. Not really anything we didn’t like more like advice to improve, washing machine is small and different so we’ll be nice to have a little guide how to use it, it took us a while to figure out how to lock the door as its under the fridge, never seen that before. There is not blackout in the windows so a bit of a problem is you travelling with kids that need dark rooms, make sure to bring the blackout.

Inmitten des Ortes Arco do Calheta und dort inmitten einer kleinbäuerlichen kleinen Bananenplantage gelegenen kleines, luxuriöses Idyll mit uneinsichtigem schönen Außenbereich und zusätzlicher Dachterrasse mit gemütlichen Liegen mit guten Auflagen. Innen komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Klimageräte, die in den Schlafräumen und der Wohnküche hängen, konnten wir glücklicherweise als Heizung nutzen. Hin und wieder riecht man den nahe gelegenen Hühnerstall. Sehr ruhige Lage.
