1.0Nothing
− Being told couldn't access property until 4oclock was actually nearer to 4 30pm when we did, it's a cottage, which a gentleman was staying in also in the bedroom upstairs, don't think so, place was manky, tried to make out had been cleaned, sheets were rank, no doubts he'll answer this with nooo sheets all laundered place spotless,(NO IT WAS NOT) went downstairs to kitchen, omg unbelievable, I should've checked reviews, he had the audacity to say well it's a budget property and cheap, I said agree, but should be clean budget or not, he and us both know why nothing cleaned before we got there, when it clearly stayed on site 3pm, to busy, and the icing on the cake your sharing cottage with a stranger, no thanks, we left straight away and got in touch with booking.com, we had to book into another hotel as it was gone 5pm he said I'll refund your money, couldn't get out that place quick enough

− There was a random person there already who I had to evict. Bedroom patio doors were open and couldn’t be locked

1.0Nothing stole my money after booking and paying in full got a message cancelling now no contact and no refund I would avoid!
Cool, quiet, comfy and perfect for a short break
9.0The location was excellent - quiet and cool, away from the centre but easily accessible on foot
− I could have done with more information about arrival - gate was tricky to open, key safe very difficult to get into but owner was on hand to help
Owner saved my bacon on the first night as I had lost the key 🤷 After a few phone conversations he sorted me another roo
8.0It was lovely and peaceful with all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay
− Spiral staircase to be fair was a struggle
I wondered why it was so cheap and still available during the Eisteddfod, and now I know.
5.0The location was ace and it was lovely having a balcony in the bedroom. I slept with French doors open and the sound of the river. Unlike many actual hotels, there were sockets near the mirror.
− As soon as I entered I was aware of a smell, like something off in the fridge. It wasn’t anywhere near as present upstairs and was much better with all of the windows and French doors open. The spiral staircase felt really rickety and it was easier to leave my suitcase downstairs than try and get it upstairs as the staircase was also super narrow. It’s very tired and the shower was particularly icky, despite having strong pressure. The whole place felt grubby which is a shame. A little investment would make this a winning property.
