The location met our needs perfectly. While we didn't receive the information on how to access the room, the owner responded fairly quickly to our question with accurate information.

− The condition of the property is dubious. At least two chairs were broken and the outside windows did not seem to operate appropriately. There was a need for painting, and the carpet had a lot of stains. The TV worked but it did strange things, like hopping off the streaming service. We could have used another set of linens and towels. Wifi would have been very helpful and necessary at the price charged.

Nothing, after finding the property in so bad conditions. Very disappointing

− I booked this apartment in St Albans for a stay with my partner, but we were forced to leave shortly after arrival due to the unacceptable condition of the property. The apartment was filthy and clearly not maintained. The sofa was broken, the bedsheets were dirty with no spare linens provided, a lamp was broken, the ceiling was leaking, and a mirror was broken. The bins were half full, the bin itself was rusted, the toilet was dirty, there were stains on the curtains, and marks all over the furniture. It was obvious the apartment had not been cleaned or checked properly before our arrival. We contacted the property immediately and chose to leave, as it was not a place we could stay in. Despite providing photos and videos as evidence, the property refused to issue a refund. Booking.com said they could not help without the property’s authorization, which was extremely disappointing. It’s now been over a month with no response or solution. This apartment is in no condition to be rented out and I would strongly advise others to stay away. Very poor experience both with the host and Booking.com support.

Good location.

− This property was not like the photos. One of the sofas was completely broken, the toilet seat was broken, and a bedside light did not work. The walls and ceilings were marked and dirty, and there were exposed nails in several rooms. The Wi-Fi did not work, despite being advertised. There was a strong, unpleasant smell throughout the flat, and the bedding and towels were of extremely poor quality. I reported the sofa damage immediately and was told someone would follow up, but no one ever came and I received no meaningful assistance. This experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable, and the lack of communication and accountability from both the host and Booking.com has made it worse. This listing is misleading at best, and bordering on fraudulent. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

Location was handy for us.

− Broken sofa. Broken bedside lamp. Rusty towel rail. Rusty bin in bathroom . Toilet seat wasn’t fitted correctly & was not the right seat for the toilet & the fixings were rusty. Towels were old & worn. Only 1 pillow per person available. The apartment smelled really stuffy like it hadn’t been used for years. There were water stains on the ceiling. Broken wall sockets. Light fixtures not properly connected.

Decent location.

− When we arrived (already almost 7pm) there was a cleaner inside saying the flat wouldn't be ready until the next day because it was really dirty. After contacting the owners we were able to get in, waiting for linen for 45 minutes. The flat was completely a wreck: broken sofa, broken chairs, stains and holes on the walls, broken toilet seat, broken lamp, broken TV... We contacted the owners to get a solution and they did not reply until the next day, giving us 0 solutions. Uncomfortable bed and pillows that were really old. Old and the kitchen facilities were lacking. For what we paid it was not worth it.
