− Avis is generally far from everything else, but luckily, you can always get a yango if you don't have a car.

10.0We LOVED our recent stay. Everything about the property is well thought-out and careful, down to the very high-quality linens on the beds. The house was spotless upon arrival, easy to find (not far from Sam Njuoma Drive), and everything was well-appointed. Even the power outlets with USB ports and two-pin plugs were carefully thought out for cell phone charging and the like. We were also trying to work while in Windhoek and the internet here was GREAT! I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone who has an overnight or a few days in Windhoek. Because Windhoek is a small city, it is a great location for getting around, not far from petrol stations, Checkers, Spar, ATM's, etc. On the way to the international airport and perfect for families. The house looked exactly like the photos.
− My "complaint" is actually for Booking.com. No properties in Namibia can process credit cards from off of Booking.com's website and this is a MASSIVE pain (and not made clear to us when we are booking--we're led to believe we're paying with our cards). I had to pull out large amounts of cash to pay for this accommodation and others we stayed at while in Namibia (or do an international EFT, which cost me quite a bank fee). This is not the fault of the property owners, but something with Bookings. I think Bookings should put some effort into fixing this issue, particularly for international travellers, of which Namibia has MANY. These small business owners could really benefit from patrons being able to use their credit cards.
