We decided not to go into the cabin because of the location. From the pictures the cabin looked like everything we hoped, however the cabin is not in a very nice area. The area felt unsafe.

− * the cabin is in the back garden of a semi-detached house * the parking is inadequate. there is no parking however the owner thinks that it is okay to park front on to the property, illegally overhanging and blocking the pavement. * the cabin is situated adjacent to a railway line * the area was a huge disappointment. It is not a pleasant area and genuinely, given we were unable to park on the drive, even though the owner had suggested free parking we believe our car would not safe in that area. * despite the owner advertising to call him, he failed to pick up three times and hasn’t called us back. * when we arrived at the property, disappointed with location and felt it wasn’t appropriate to what we paid, this was when we decided not to stay on Friday 05:06:26. After calling three times on the Friday, further contact was attempted via email (at least x4) and I would describe the responses as unhelpful, bizarre and out of the ordinary responses. To the point today Sunday 07:06:26 the owner still thinks we were there. * we have not entered the property, there is no cleaning requirement and having been a multiple user of booking.com this is incredibly disappointing. Through our emails we felt a 50% refund was reasonable, recognising it is non-refundable. communication from him. * we have lost just shy of £400 with this booking, not to mention the distance travelled and the impact to our weekend plans. Overall a huge disappointment.

Really comfortable bed, everything was lovely and clean. Communication from the host was perfect.

So clean and cosy. Host provided wine and chocolates and bathrobes which was lovely. Hot tub was brilliant too!
